Site Evaluation – By
analyzing the content, structure and design of your existing site,
we can determine what level of web promotion we can apply to your
site and judge the type and extent of changes that would need to be
made to the site.
Keyword Research – The
obvious key terms are most likely the most competitive. They have
a large number of people vying for a top placement in the search engines
sometimes without a similar amount of people searching for it. To
gain a high ranking in this situation can take an incredible amount
of time and money. What you need are effective search terms, terms
that many internet users are searching under but which few competitors
are promoting them selves under. By far the biggest jump in traffic
will come from these terms. We will research the most effective terms
and agree with you on the terms under which we will promote your site.
The number of key terms that your site is promoted under will be
chosen based on their relevancy to the existing content in your site
and the ability with which they can implemented into the site promotion.
As a general rule, we promote a minimum of 5 key terms unless the
specific web promotion package states otherwise.
Promotion Page – Promotion
pages express your company’s relationship with a particular
key term and are designed to rank highly under that specific term.
They drive highly targeted traffic to your site. Because they are
designed around a specific key phrase, promotional pages tend to rank
better than existing site pages that have been optimized.
Optimization of site – There
are a number of web page factors that can affect the ranking of a
site from the frequency of keywords to the type and complexity of
coding from which the pages are constructed. By working on these areas,
the highest possible search engine value can be derived from them.
We will work on every aspect of the site and will aim to make as little
obvious changes as possible. Specific areas that we will use in our
optimization are page titles, Meta tags, code, external link popularity
and reciprocal linking, internal linking fluidity, site structure,
keyword density of content. For maximum possible effect, this can
require dramatic changes to both design and content however we strive
for as little design and content changes as possible. All changes
will be agreed before being uploaded to the live site.
Mini-sites – The
value of a mini-site is two-fold. Whilst building up the number of
relevant, reciprocal links to your site (thus in turn driving up your
rankings) it also acts as a separate promotional entity to be ranked
in the search engines.
Sage’s
Exclusive Reciprocal Linking System – The
value of reciprocal links between sites cannot be under played.
Many search engines (notably Google)
place high value on sites with a large number of relevant links
from highly positioned sites and therefore assign rank accordingly.
Sage offers a unique and discreet reciprocal linking system that
maximizes the potential value of such links through a tested
structure and massive link base. The system is designed not
to be obvious
and therefore not to detract from the emphasis of the site itself.
